America is having a birthday party in the Quad Cities this weekend … and you’re invited. Red White & Boom, hosted by Genesis Health Systems and the Riverboat Development Authority, is billed as “the best fireworks display in the Quad Cities” and features live performances, fun activities, food and drinks on both sides of the Mississippi.
The fun starts at 6pm on Sunday, July 3rd and runs through the massive fireworks display which launches at 9:30pm. The public is invited to come down to Davenport’s Centennial Park, Modern Woodmen Park and other locations along the riverfront – or to take in the spectacle at Schwiebert Park and The District in Rock Island. More information can be found at the Red White & Book website.
